Eunice Msuya, MD
Pediatric Registrar, Arusha Lutheran Medical Center, Tanzania Dr Eunice Msuya is a pediatric registrar at Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre, where she has been working in the Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) and Pediatric Department for the past 3 years. She is passionate about neonatal resuscitation, advancing neonatal care in developing countries, and performing pediatric procedures in high acuity clinical environments. Dr Eunice has taken the lead in recent years in neonatology training and directing the NICU at ALMC NICU. |

Angel Mathew, RN
NICU Nurse, Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre NICU Institute for Child Healthcare Africa - Arusha, Tanzania Angel is a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse at Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre (ALMC), where she has served since 2016. She considers it a privilege to contribute to neonatal care and takes pride in her work within the NICU. She has served on the Tiny Feet Big Steps (TFBS) Conference training team since it began in 2021. Beyond her clinical responsibilities, she has played a key role with the ALMC NICU team in organizing and leading workshops and seminars for nurses from hospitals across Tanzania, advancing neonatal care education and practice, and developing outpatient pediatric nursing care. |

Stephen J. Swanson
MD, DTM&H, FAAP Associate Professor, Division of Global Pediatrics University of Minnesota Medical School. Founder, Institute for Child Healthcare Africa (ICHA). Director, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre, Tanzania. Founder and Chair, Tiny Feet Big Steps Neonatology Conferences. Dr. Stephen Swanson is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics who trained in pediatric infectious diseases, tropical medicine, and public health/epidemiology. Since 2013, Dr. Swanson has lived in Tanzania, working at Arusha Lutheran Medical Centre (ALMC) and Selian Lutheran Hospital. He was the founder of the ALMC NICU. |
